About Us
Clevedon Court is a detached stone built Victorian building which has been established as a care home since 1976 and is currently owned by Mrs. Kalpana Arvindhan.
It is accredited with North Somerset county council for 22 persons. We have 18 single rooms and two double rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities.
On the ground floor we have a very large communal lounge area and a separate dining room that is very spacious, both are south facing and get the benefit of the sunshine throughout the day.
The house is situated approximately 20 yards from the beach lawns and the sea front, in the other direction and only about three hundred yards you will find local shops and churches, there are also a variety of local parks within easy reach should you wish to go for a stroll.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and most have built-in wardrobes and are complemented with remote control television. We have a passenger lift which operates to all floors. To help you feel more at home you are encouraged to bring in your own favourite pieces of furniture to help you maintain family surroundings.
 At the rear of the building we have a restful garden patio area and parking facilities. All meals are home cooked using local produce wherever possible, all our cakes and pastries are home made too! Special dietary requirements can be catered for by our trained staff.
We have a weekly visit from a local hairdresser and we have a chiropodist that visits every six weeks, news papers can be delivered to you should you wish to use these extra facilities. We have library books delivered and changed every two months and can also arrange local minister to visit should you wish.
It is our intention to always provide a happy, friendly and comfortable home from home environment at Clevedon Court Residential Home, with the help of our friendly and highly efficient staff we are able to achieve this objective. As part of our service we offer round the clock care and attention and can also offer a respite and day care facilities for those that wish to.
Our price tariff includes all meals, together with morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening supper. All your personal washing is catered for and is also included although we do ask all service users to clearly mark all of their clothing to avoid confusion. Our charges are comprehensive and complete, the only extras are papers, chiropodist, hairdresser, the personal touches we all enjoy from time to time. |
